Mustang Recreation Center, currently under construction in the Eastport area along Marsh Bend Trail, is one of the newest additions to The Villages recreation family. Inspired by the wild horses of Central Florida, this modern, free‑spirited gathering space is being brought to life by designers Alison & Devon, who are offering a first look at the vision behind its rustic and elegant aesthetic.
Recreation with Roots in Central Florida
Building a theme around the wild horses of Central Florida pays homage to the herds that exist outside of Gainesville, Florida. Mustang Recreation Center brings that inspiration home to The Villages, blending natural textures and modern design.
Designing Mustang Recreation Center
Alison & Devon have run wild and free with the design of this new Village recreation center, giving it a spirited country feel as you enter the barn-styled building. Featuring steel beams and floor-to-ceiling wood walls, Mustang Recreation Center will lean into a warmer, modern design that will transport you to the untamed countryside.
A New Village Recreation Center
As a Village recreation center, Mustang will feature a variety of activities, indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, and plenty of opportunities for friends, family, and neighbors to spend time together. At Mustang, Villagers will find
