Halloween Across The Villages
Grab your costume, call your crew, and clear your calendar because Halloween is coming to The Villages Town Squares! On October 31, Spanish Springs, Lake Sumter Landing, Eastport, and Brownwood will each host their own unique Halloween celebrations, complete with live entertainment, festive drink specials, themed costume contests, and special performances.
Choose your favorite Square or theme and dress to join the fun. Each location will host a costume contest, so you can show your creativity and get into the spirit of the season.
How to participate:
- Come dressed in your best themed costumes
- Judging will happen throughout the evening
- Winners will be announced at 8pm at Center Stage
While you’re enjoying the fun, stop by the bar huts for the featured cocktail of the night, the Pumpkin Spike, available at every Town Square. Whichever Square you choose, you’re in for a night of festivities, good entertainment, and great company.
Halloween at All Town Squares
Eastport: Icons & Idols
Step into the spotlight and become the star of the show. Whether you’re inspired by a Hollywood legend, chart-topping musician, or pop culture icon, Eastport is the place to celebrate all the larger-than-life personalities.
- Band: Blonde Ambition from 6-10pm
- Special Performance: Thrillagers at 6:45pm

- Ultimate Icon Award — Best overall costume that truly captures an iconic figure
- The Headliners — Best pair or group costume
- People’s Choice — Crowd-voted favorite costume of the night
Brownwood: Wild West Halloween
Round up your posse and head west for a Halloween adventure on the frontier. Brownwood is transforming into a Wild West celebration filled with cowboy spirit, western charm, and plenty of Hometown fun.
- Hometown Market: At the Square from 9am-1pm
- Band: Alex Hayes Band from 6-10pm
- Costume Contest Categories:
- Best Sheriff in Town — Awarded to the costume with the most authentic Wild West spirit
- Best Posse — Awarded to the best duo or group costume
- Most Wanted — The crowd-voted favorite costume of the night
Spanish Springs: Home State Halloween
Celebrate your roots with a Home State Halloween. Dress up as a famous figure, iconic landmark, state symbol, or favorite sports team, ready to represent the state that’s always close to your heart.
- Band: Scooter the DJ from 6-10pm
- Special Performance: Thrill The Villages at 6:45pm
- Cocktail Special: Vampire’s Kiss

- Best State Spirit Award — Best costume inspired by a state icon, symbol, place, or personality
- United States of Awesome — Best group costume celebrating a state, region, or state icons
- America’s Choice — Crowd favorite costume celebrating Home State Halloween
Lake Sumter Landing: Decades
Step back in time right here on the Square. From the glamour of the Roaring ’20s to the flower power of the ’70s, the bright neon of the ’80s, and beyond, it’s your chance to visit your favorite era.
- Band: Eighteen87 from 6-10pm
- Costume Contest Categories:
- Best Decade Icon — Best portrayal of a famous person from any era
- Best Time-Traveling Duo or Group — Best pair or group costume from the same decade
- The Greatest Hit Award — The crowd-voted favorite costume that wins the hearts of everyone
