You’ll find members of The Villages Woodworkers Club coming together with a common love and appreciation for carving, turning, stained glass, and general woodworking activities. Members can share their passion, contribute to charitable causes, and continue to develop their craft in the company of good friends and neighbors.

Brownwood Woodshop

This facility is very popular for those who enjoy creating woodcrafts. The shop has all the machinery and tools needed to enjoy this fun and unique art form. From small projects to large - the sky's the limit.

The Villages Woodshop

The original woodworking facility here in The Villages began with a few Villagers looking for a place to “make sawdust” and has grown to over 1,600 members ranging from amateurs to master craftsmen.

Giving Back to the Community

Over a decade ago, a few of Santa’s “elves” got together to create wooden toys for children in need — that Christmas, they produced 142 toys. Today, our elves in the Toy Department work year-round to make approximately 9,000 hand-crafted gifts per year to donate to children in the Tri-County area.
