Take me out to the ball game! Join The Villages Recreation & Parks and The Villages Charter School as they host a three-game baseball series with the Florida Collegiate Summer League. College athletes from across the United States will play this summer here in Florida for the Florida Collegiate Summer Series, a wooden bat league. This year The Deland Suns will change their name and represent The Villages Sluggers to compete at The Villages High School.
Tickets are available online at DistrictGov.org/Recreation or at any Regional Recreation Complex. A limited number of tickets will be available for walk-up purchase at the baseball complex at The Villages High School. Tickets are $10 per game, and children under 10 years old are free. Gates open at 3:00pm and Games Start at 4:00pm – June 14, 15, and 16.
Be sure to check out the roster, meet coach Mike Powers, and see if you recognize one of your favorite athletes. Come out and cheer on the home team!
