The presale voucher for the specialty plate typically costs $33, plus a small processing fee if you pay with a credit or debit card.
To purchase a presale voucher as a gift, visit your motor vehicle office in Florida using code B9R. Provide the recipient’s full name as it appears on their driver’s license. The voucher will be attached to their driver record and can be redeemed when the plates are ready
The gift recipient can claim their specialty plate once it’s produced by visiting a DMV office during their registration renewal or by requesting a plate replacement. They will receive a letter from the FLHSMV with instructions on how to exchange their current plate for the specialty plate.
The plates will be produced once 3,000 presale vouchers have been sold. You can track the progress on the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles website.
All funds raised from the sale of the “May All Your Dreams Come True” Specialty Plate go directly to the 501C3 of The Villages Charter School, benefiting the education of students in our community.
No, the voucher is electronically attached to your driver record in the State of Florida’s registration system. You’ll be able to redeem it once the plates are produced.
