Take a Tour of Southern Oaks Championship Golf Club

As we wrap up the end of the summer growing season, the greens and fairways of the Southern Oaks 18-Hole Championship are all grown in and now ready for you to enjoy.  Villagers will be able to make their first Tee-Time system requests on November 6^th for play beginning November 13^th. Southern Oaks Championship Golf Club is the first of its kind, designed by golf course architect, Kenny Ezell.  With 3 par 3’s, 3 par 4’s and 3 par 5’s on each of the 9’s you’re in for a unique golf experience.

In the meantime, while you’re taking those practice swings and getting ready to play make your tee-time request, join Jennifer Parr and Ken Roshaven as they take you on a tour of the Southern Oaks Club in this month’s Vmail video.  They’ll share some tips on what to look out for when you play this all-new golf course.

• For the higher handicap, play the course at the ideal yardage for you.
• For the lower handicap player, having the correct angle when hitting onto the green will help overcome the challenges of the multiple-tiered greens.
• Based upon hole location, missing the green will make par very difficult.
