Debbie joined Properties of The Villages in 2014. Real estate has been a lifelong passion of hers which began in South Florida more than 20 years ago. Debbie has vast knowledge in all aspects of Real Estate – construction, developer sales, and residential real estate. She gained her real estate experience while working for several high-end developers in South Florida as well as working as a Broker Associate in independent residential real estate sales.

Debbie and her husband, Scott, visited The Villages and knew that one day they would call The Villages their home.

Life didn’t start in South Florida… Debbie was born in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to Miami at the age of 6 (which gives her Florida Native Status). A proud Florida Gator, Debbie attended the University of Florida and graduated with a degree in marketing. The marketing field was great for 10 years until Debbie started managing a sales office for a developer, and her real estate passion quickly became a new career.

Another passion in Debbie’s heart is people. Beyond serving customers, she serves The Villages community and various charitable organizations including The Villages Regional Hospital and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Scott is the former foundation chairman and current board member of The Villages Regional Hospital and a distinguished Paul Harris fellow member of the rotary foundation of Rotary International. Community service and values are very important to the Sander Family.

As a sales rookie, Debbie took the market by storm, and it didn’t stop there. In her first year, Debbie was awarded rookie of the year and finished in the top 10 of sales professionals in The Villages. Debbie has consistently ranked in the top ten and top five of The Villages sales team every year thereafter. In addition to earning her ring and pins, she has been recognized for sales excellence every year since joining The Villages Team. She is also proud to have been recognized as the number one sales representative for Properties of The Villages for two years in a row in 2020 and 2021!

Debbie is the proud mother of 3 beautiful daughters – Twins Elyssa and Kim, and Jessi, who serves as one of her three assistants. She is also mom to Bentley and Brooklyn, both Goldendoodles, and Zoe, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. When you have a passion and a dream to help serve others it can’t end there. Debbie proudly formed The Sander Group in 2021 which is a team of top sales representatives to help serve all her buyers’ and sellers’ needs.
