Debbie Sander joined The Properties of The Villages in 2014 and was recognized as Rookie of the Year in 2015. Since then, she has consistently established herself as one of the organization’s Top-Performing Agents, ranking in the top 1% for homes sold annually and maintaining a leading sales position year after year.

Some personal milestones Debbie has achieved since working in The Villages include performing in the Top 5 Sales Representatives annually, along with numerous Achievement Awards including recognition for Most Previously Owned Homes Sold, Most Listings, Most Sales, and Top Performance in Listing, Sales, and Marketing. Debbie also set a company record with 196.5 homes sold, the highest number of transactions achieved in a single year.

Debbie was born in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to Miami at age 6. She began her career in South Florida after earning a degree in Marketing as a proud Florida Gator, graduating from the University of Florida. Debbie spent 10 years in the marketing field before transitioning into real estate sales management for a developer, where her passion for the industry took hold. With more than 30 years of real estate experience, her background includes extensive experience in construction, developer sales, and residential real estate, as well as work with high-end developers and as a broker associate in independent residential sales.

Debbie is equally committed to her community. She and her husband, Scott, are proud residents of The Villages and actively support local and national charitable organizations. Their involvement includes sponsoring Gold Star families at Memorial Day observances at The Sharon, as well as supporting The Villages Regional Hospital and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Community service and strong values remain central to the Sander family. Debbie is also a proud mother of three daughters, Elyssa and Kim, and her youngest, Jessi, who resides in Middleton. Their family also includes four beloved dogs: Bentley and Brooklyn (Goldendoodles), Cali, (Miniature Bernedoodle) and the newest addition, Winnie (also a Mini Bernedoodle!).

Debbie and her husband reside in the Village of Oak Hollow, where they have built their dream home. As active members of The Villages community, they have personally bought, sold, and built multiple homes, in addition to investing in several properties. This firsthand experience provides Debbie with a unique perspective, allowing her to guide clients with insight gained from both sides of the transaction. In 2021, Debbie founded The Sander Group, a team of dedicated real estate professionals focused on delivering exceptional service to buyers and sellers. Known for her professionalism, market knowledge, and results-driven approach, Debbie is committed to guiding her clients through every step of the real estate process with integrity and care.
