Laurie has been joyfully working with Properties of The Villages for 20 years.

Laurie is one of few native Floridians! She was born in the Miami area during the Bay of Pigs/Cuban Missile crisis, and due to the uncertainty of that area, she and her mom moved to Jacksonville, where her grandparents settled in the 1940s. After college at Vanderbilt and The University of Michigan, Laurie returned to her beloved Florida and has remained here through three different careers — advertising, teaching, and real estate sales with The Villages.

Laurie is a parent to the most spoiled canines on the planet — Ava, a sweet but anxious Chocolate Labradoodle, and Zoe, Hadley, and Monroe who are amazing Bernedoodles. Laurie’s husband John is a very tolerant man! She also has 4 amazing stepchildren, who are bravely making their way through the world, and doing incredible things.

When Laurie has free time she enjoys day trips to the beach, painting, yoga, and jewelry making, but most of all the incredible social experiences that this community offers.

In her 20 years at The Villages, Laurie has had the privilege of making over 600 families very happy with either new or pre-owned homes in this incredible community. She works with both buyers and sellers in making their Villages dreams come true. Laurie enjoys the challenge of each side of the real estate deal.
