Originally from Bay Head, New Jersey, Brian Linton has lived in Lady Lake since 2011. He started playing golf in college after he was no longer able to play soccer due to three knee surgeries. He attended Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He has been a PGA member since 2001 and has been with The Villages since 2010. Brian says the best part of his job is the daily interaction with the residents and their guests as they come out to enjoy the course. His tip for playing Evans Prairie Country Club like a pro is to make sure you are making proper club selection on many holes that require either forced lay-up or forced carry. Evans Prairie isn’t the type of course that you can hit with a driver all day and be in a good position. This course does make you think a bit more than the others.
