Revitalization Updates at Palmer Legends Championship Golf Course

This year is bringing a refresher course to one of our hometown’s favorite championship golf courses—Palmer Legends.

With a beautiful view of Lake Sumter Landing Market Square, Riley Grove will be the first of the three 9’s at Palmer Legends to be renovated, followed by Cherry Hill and Laurel Valley. Once completed, golfers will continue to enjoy the picture perfect surroundings and challenging game this course features, but with some updates and additions that will provide improved playing conditions and opportunities.

• TifEagle grass to replace putting green surfaces
• Celebration grass to replace all fairways
• Bunkers to be replaced with new sand
• Infrastructure improvements including bridges, drainage and golf car paths
• Himalayan Putting Green improvements
• Practice greens space to be added

Expected to be open in mid-fall of 2022, we can’t wait to welcome you back to the new and improved Riley Grove 9 at Palmer Legends Championship Course.
