[Music] I am so excited about this project. It is going to be an incredible new amenity that we’re bringing to Lake Sumter Landing Waterfront. You know, it’s already the premier waterfront destination for residents and guests to come to The Villages. And when we transform this, it’ll change the whole look and feel of the waterfront, the use and functionality of it. It is going to be a great project and the residents are going to love it. I don’t know what it is about being on the water, but this is one of my favorite places to go. We watch out for boats and see if we’ve got any pontoon boats or dragon boats out on the water, which is a lot of fun. I like to look for the wildlife. I am down here all the time. And she loves to walk. It’s incredibly important. People love this place. They love the beauty of it. They want to do the things that takes them outside. And the renovations and the upkeep here is fantastic. And what you’re going to do here is going to be phenomenal. Going to be another beautiful amenity for our residents to use today, tomorrow, in the future. Lots of great visioning that went into this project. The conceptional plan looks absolutely amazing. So, what are some of the amenities that people will see when this beautiful wharf is completed? So, I think the first thing they’ll expect is the waterfront won’t look exactly like it does today. It’ll be significantly expanded, a lot more dock space, a lot more walking space. There’ll be a greatly expanded covered sitting area out on the waterfront that’ll have lots of seating options to watch the sunset, watch the sunrise, drink a cup of coffee in the morning. And of course, we’ll have the tour boats, the fishing boats, the dragon boats, the kayaks with easy launch, easy recovery. Rec staff will be there. It’s a one-stop shop for our residents to do all of the waterfront activities that they love to do. Yeah. So, it’s kind like a recreation center on the water, right? Yeah. I think it’ll be truly an incredible amenity to have down here. Something that we don’t have anywhere else. So, it makes this place a unique environment and truly embrace the waterfront like they never have before. So the number one question we get and I just had one from a resident walking by here was, “When are you guys getting started with this?” So, construction plans are done. They’re approved. We will go out to bid shortly. That process takes a few months, but in 2026, you will start seeing this area transform to a new waterfront wharf amenity for all of the residents to enjoy. So, it’s probably a six-month project when we get it kicked off, but it’ll certainly be visible to the residents right here, and they can watch the whole transformation happen as it occurs. And we’re trying to use modernized materials such as tracks and other things. So, this will last decades and decades. And I think it’s also our commitment back to the residents that, you know, we maintain these facilities, but we like to enhance them where we can and improve them. Of course, we’re rebuilding the Paradise Recreation Center. So, now we’re moving down and doing some work at Lake Sumpter Landing and bring a new experience to the residents. And I think this will do exactly that. And so, while it seems like it’s a little way off, it’ll be here before we know it. People are going to have more memories, more experiences, more opportunities, and the residents are going to have the best of their life here. Yeah, that’s right. That’s exactly it.
