Trina wasn’t looking for retirement when she stumbled on The Villages in March of 2022. She was living in the Bentonville area of Arkansas, practicing real estate with Keller Williams for 17 yrs.

Her daughter, Carly, had joined her team, and they were attending a real estate conference in Orlando, when she overheard a couple ladies talking about The Villages. She had to come take a look, because it sounded too good to be true. But it was true!

In that first trip of 7 days she bought a second home, explored by golf cart, played a lot of pickleball and other activities with a very large singles group, and met a wonderful man, all in a week’s visit! God’s plans are not always apparent in advance, but always good.

Carly encouraged her to move there and offered to take over the Arkansas team and begin to live her best life! Carly is now married and expecting her first child, Trina’s first grandchild.

Trina did and hasn’t looked back since. Trina and David live in The Village of Fernandina and have rentals in The Villages of Caroline and Charlotte. David enjoys water volleyball, Trina is crazy for pickleball, and together they love to travel.

“I grew up in northwest Pennsylvania, 2nd of 7 children to wonderful parents, and dad was a Lutheran Pastor. I left home at 18, went to school in Pittsburgh, PA, and started a career with the JCPenney Company in Rochester, NY. I moved to Toms River, NJ, Plainsboro, worked in NYC, moved to Dallas/ Plano, Texas with JCPenney, where my amazing daughter was born When she was 3, I was recruited to work for Walmart, Inc and relocated to Bentonville, Arkansas to work as a corporate buyer for their Sam’s Club division. Eventually I left, became a vendor at Walmart, then left to pursue real estate.”
