As a successful Real Estate Broker of 17 years in Bentonville, Arkansas, it wasn’t until her daughter Carly joined her team that she unexpectedly discovered The Villages. While at their first Real Estate convention in Orlando, they overheard a couple of ladies discussing this fun place to live life called “The Villages.” The rest, as they say, is history!

With retirement being the last thing on her mind she soon scheduled her first seven-day Lifestyle visit; most likely just like you. In that short time, she enjoyed endlessly exploring The Villages by golf cart, meeting new friends on the pickleball courts, being welcomed into a fun singles activities group, and experiencing the great music and dancing in the town squares.

“In that short time, I found myself enjoying such a fun active lifestyle that you guessed it, I bought my first house in The Villages and never looked back. In fact, it was my lovely daughter who suggested I move to The Villages full-time and continue my real estate career while enjoying all this lifestyle has to offer. Before The Villages, my life was typical. I grew up in a wonderful family in northwest Pennsylvania. My father, a Lutheran Pastor, and I, the second of six siblings, and recently I’m a proud grandmother. Wow, do I know “family”. After school in Pittsburg, I worked with JC Penney, taking me to NYC, NJ, and Texas. Then Walmart relocated me to Arkansas where I became a corporate buyer for Sam’s Club.”
