Scott Parrish has worked with The Villages Sales Team since 1999 specializing in real estate sales. Born in Vincennes, Indiana, he only lived there for 3 weeks when the first snowstorm arrived and his father said, “Get the boys and the dog and let’s get back to Florida!” Scott graduated from Leesburg High School.
After graduating high school, he took an apprenticeship program for two years to become an optician. He conducted business locally for nearly 12 years before entering into real estate and joining The Villages sales team.
Scott’s family history in the area dates back to the 1920’s! His grandfather was the Chief of Police in Leesburg and held the honor of being the youngest chief of police in the United States. He also worked in the FBI and worked under J. Edgar Hoover. Scott’s parents owned and operated a Fine China and Jewelry store in Leesburg where his father served as a local jeweler for 25 years. His mother, a retired teacher, taught for 35 years locally.
Scott married his wife Tami in 1988. They moved to Lady Lake and saw the growing boom of The Villages that started from Spanish Springs to where it is today. They have 3 daughters who all graduated from The Villages Charter School.
Kaylee, 35 years of age, is married to Jay Morel with grandsons Jaece and Aiden. McKenzie, 29 years of age, is married to Kenneth McCalla with granddaughters Stella and Sage. Kara, 25 years of age, is married to Aaron Coleman with granddaughter Saylor Mae.
Scott loves fishing, scuba, boating, hunting, and golf.
“I enjoy working for Properties of The Villages because I believe in what we’re doing. Creating a lifestyle that no one has offered before, finding and building dream homes and making retirement dreams come true.”
