Growing up in a small midwestern town, Coldwater, Michigan, Sara loved playing softball, volleyball and riding/showing her beloved horses. She began her journey to The Villages when her parents bought their first seasonal home in The Village of Sherwood back in 1998. Sara visited as frequently as she could, and fell in love with the hometown feel, friendly atmosphere and loads of activities. She could only dream, at that time, that she too would enjoy all the things The Villages had to offer. In 2019, Sara and her spouse Katie bought their first home in The Villages. Dreams do come true!

Prior to moving to Florida and joining The Villages team, Sara was an executive at the largest RV manufacturer in the world. She spent several years as a VP of Purchasing at Thor Industries. When she retired from Thor, she was able to spend several months enjoying golf and riding her horses down here in beautiful Florida and The Villages.

Sara really enjoys meeting new people and getting to know their likes and interests. It is so interesting to hear what some of our fellow residents have accomplished and enjoyed in their many years of life experiences.

On days when Sara is not out engaging with our residents and friends, she really loves being at the horse farm with her two horses, Bubbles and Joker. She is also the proud mom of three fur babies Remi, Ronnie and Koko.
