Robin’s journey to Properties of The Villages from Indiana started when her husband, Zach, first visited The Villages with a friend in March of 2010. During that visit, he phoned Robin and told her he had found the perfect hometown for them. Shortly thereafter, the two visited together and Robin agreed that one day they would call The Villages their home.

Robin spent most of her life in her native state of Indiana. A proud Indiana Hoosier (Much to the chagrin of her Purdue Boilermaker Husband!), Robin attended Indiana University as an education major and parlayed that into a career spent training bartenders for a national restaurant chain. After nearly a decade, she decided to cut back on her business travel and went to work for Ameritech in Indianapolis. It was during this time at Ameritech that she met Zach. She later transitioned into a very successful stint with Angie’s List as one of its first employees. Most recently she worked as part of a medical device sales team.

Robin’s true passion is people. Beyond serving clients, she and Zach were foster parents to more than a dozen children throughout the years. Some only spent a few weeks in the home, while some spent several years before successfully reuniting with their biological families. A few never left! (Robin and Zach adopted four of their children.) Each of them is still considered a member of the family and most stay in regular contact with Robin and Zach.

Robin’s wonderful daughter, Angela, is the proud mother of Robin’s twin Grandsons, Asher and Foster. Her son, Alex, works for Shell Oil Company on an offshore facility in the Gulf of Mexico. Her son, Matt, works for Honda of Indiana. Her son, Dylan, works for a midwestern restaurant chain, while her youngest, Rudy, is a proud member of the United States Navy. Robin and Zach’s nest is far from empty, however. They have a playful, but elusive cat named London, and a miniature poodle named Liam that keep things lively at home.

When not spending time with her family and friends, Robin takes every opportunity to enjoy the many amenities throughout The Villages. On any given day, you may find her playing golf with her ladies’ group, neighbors, or friends. She enjoys pickleball as often as possible and can often be found riding her electric bicycle to the grocery or just cruising the trails.

Robin’s favorite part of working with the team at Properties of The Villages is sharing her love of The Villages with potential future neighbors and making new friends along the way.
