As a family man, former Marine, avid golfer, sports fanatic, and man of God, Robbie not only understands the importance of family, faith, and a healthy lifestyle, but also how your community can have a positive and profound impact on your life and well-being.

Originally a New Hampshire native, Robbie spent his early years in the Northeast before moving to Florida, where he attended high school in nearby Ocala.

After the world was shaken by the events of 9/11, Robbie felt it was his civic duty to fight for his country, and in May of 2002 he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. He served a total of six years in the USMC, achieving the rank of E-5 Sergeant. During his enlistment, Robbie spent seven months in Iraq delivering beans, bullets, and Band-Aids to fellow Marines; was accepted into Marine Security Guard School, where he learned computer and monitoring systems used to operate and secure American embassies; and spent just under a year in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as well as his final two years in Okinawa, Japan.

Upon receiving an honorable discharge from the Marine Corps in 2008, Robbie wanted to spend more time with his family and began working for his father at the Bill Bryan Auto Group. His years spent in the automotive industry not only taught him about cars and horsepower, but also demonstrated that the trust and rapport built with customers was far more rewarding than the sale itself. While both the automotive and real estate markets experienced challenges during those years, Robbie noticed that The Villages market remained strong, allowing him to continue helping people make important life decisions while staying within their financial comfort zone.

During his time in the automotive industry, he developed strong connections with Villagers and realized his passion for building relationships closely mirrored The Villages’ company values. This inspired him to pursue a career helping people find their dream home in Florida’s Friendliest Hometown.

If you were to ask Robbie who his biggest supporters and role models are, he would undoubtedly mention his loving parents, Robert and Phyllis, his wife, Lily, and his two sons, Sultan and Alexander. As a proud husband and father, Robbie treasures the time he spends with his family. His oldest son, Sultan, is 18 years old, while his youngest son, Alexander, is 4 years old.  

Growing up, his mother always reminded him to count his blessings rather than his problems—a lesson that shaped his unwavering devotion to family, friends, and the relationships he builds every day. Robbie’s strong faith in God and his “What Would Jesus Do?” mindset inspire him to serve others, lend a helping hand, and treat everyone with kindness and respect.

In his free time, you’ll find Robbie golfing, spending time with Lily and the boys, and watching or playing sports such as basketball and baseball. Along with enjoying a great game, Robbie appreciates trying different beers and visiting local breweries, which perfectly complements his competitive spirit and loyal fandom.
