Rick Richter’s family moved from Long Island, NY, to South Florida in 1970 when he was 10 years old. After starting a family of his own in his late teens, his life direction was revealed to him in 1984 when he heard Zig Ziglar say, “You can get everything you want in life if you just help enough other people get what they want.” At that moment, he resolved to do whatever he could to help as many people as possible.

For the last 40+ years, Rick’s mission, entrepreneurial drive, and passion inspired him to establish and operate several small businesses, all designed to help people get more of what they want. He has embraced opportunities to live and serve in Cocoa Beach, Florida, The Smokey Mountains of Tennessee, Maui, Hawaii, St. Maarten in the Caribbean, Breckenridge, Colorado, and now The Villages.

Rick has been visiting The Villages since his mother, “Cookie,” moved here in July 1994, and has been amazed at the tremendous growth he has personally witnessed here over the last 30 years. In 2019, when Cookie was turning 80, he decided to move to The Villages to be closer to her and spend more time with her. He enjoys spending most Sunday afternoons with Cookie and her partner Skip in The Village of Bonnybrook where they go golfing, watch football and golf on TV, and enjoy playing backgammon together.

Rick considers himself blessed to have helped over 150 clients realize their Real Estate Dreams since September 2021. His passion remains to help as many people as he can “Live Their Dream” right here in Florida’s Friendliest Hometown. He has seen firsthand how The Villages lifestyle truly enhances people’s lives and is unmatched anywhere in the world, so they can remain young at heart like Cookie has for many more years to come.
