Rick Richter’s family moved from Long Island, NY to South Florida in 1970 when he was 10 years old. After starting a family of his own in his late teens, his life direction was revealed to him in 1984 when he heard Zig Ziglar say “You can get everything you want in life if you just help enough other people get what they want.” At that moment, he resolved to do whatever he could to help as many people as possible get what they wanted.

For the last 40 years, Rick’s mission, entrepreneurial drive and passion inspired him to create and operate several small businesses, all designed to help people get more of what they want. He has embraced opportunities to live in The Smokey Mountains of Tennessee, Maui, Hawaii, St. Maarten and Breckenridge, Colorado.

Rick has been visiting The Villages since his mother, “Cookie” moved here in 1994, and has been amazed at the tremendous growth he has witnessed here over the last 30 years. When Cookie was turning 80, he decided to semi-retire and move to The Villages to be closer to her and enjoys spending Sunday afternoons with her on most weekends in The Village of Bonnybrook golfing and playing backgammon.

After establishing a successful real estate career locally with a national company for 3 years and learning the business, he considers himself blessed to have been offered the opportunity to represent The Villages, assisting new residents in creating their dream life in America’s largest and fastest growing retirement community.

Rick’s passion remains helping as many people as he can live their dream. Through Cookie, he has seen firsthand how The Villages lifestyle is unmatched anywhere in the world, and dreams of helping as many people as possible realize that vision for themselves so they can remain young at heart like she has for many years to come.

Rick is determined to use his positive energy and drive to ensure that you too can learn how to take advantage of all The Villages has to offer and create a retirement lifestyle that most people can only imagine.
