Renee Risch was born in Catskill, New York where most of her family is from and still lives today. When Renee was 3 her family moved to Birmingham, Alabama where she grew up and learned all about the LOVE of college football. Renee was involved in many activities such as softball, cheerleading, soccer, and dance line. Renee quickly fell in love with the Auburn Tigers where she later attended college at Auburn University and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.

Renee got her real estate license in 1997 and moved to Raleigh, North Carolina and worked in real estate. After several moves throughout North Carolina, Georgia and Texas, Renee went to work for Target Corporation and started her retail career while raising her family. She worked for Target for 15 years, having an incredible career and winning many awards for building teams, results, and profitability. After her career at Target, she was offered an incredible position to expand her creativity and skillset where she became the VP for Saks 5th Avenue and Saks Off 5th. She led large teams and had stores in numerous states throughout the country.

Troy Risch is originally from White Bear Lake, Minnesota. He was blessed to grow up in a suburb of St. Paul, Minnesota known for its hard work ethic and down to earth people. As a child he enjoyed being on the water in the summer and playing football, basketball, and tennis during the school year. Knowing he had to pay for college himself his goal was to attain a scholarship in sports. Achieving his goal Troy attended North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND. He attributes his success today from the determination, teamwork, and grit it took to practice in those conditions.

Troy graduated from college with a degree in Business Management in the fall of 1990 and quickly realized he wanted to be a part of a team during his career like he was in college and most of his life. He started his retail career in January of 1991 that sent him on an odyssey of incredible experiences and opportunities for over 30 years. Moving over 17 times, owning 13 different homes, and working with over 25 realtors throughout his career path, Troy knows what it takes to help you through one of the biggest changes in your life.

In 2017 Troy and Renee were married and between them they have 7 children, six daughters, McKenna, Haley, Mackenzie, Skylar, Elle, Gabrielle and one son, Jake. They are often called the Brady Bunch plus one minus Alice. The kids (who are no longer really kids) live all over the States in Nashville, Denver, Ft Lauderdale, NYC, San Diego, Boca, and Minneapolis. Both Troy and Renee’s parents also reside in The Villages. They built their first home in The Village of McClure in 2018 and now as typical Villagers are on their second home in The Village of St Catherine.

Renee and Troy both hold their Florida Real Estate License and work for The Villages as Sales Representatives. Their combined 60 years in personalized customer service, as well as relocating many times in their life, ensures that they understand the excitement, challenges and hurdles we all encounter on this journey.
