René is originally from Virginia, having spent most of her adult life in Florida. Appreciating an education and lengthy career in accounting/marketing, she found her way to a place where happiness is abundantly contagious whether working or living in this healthy, active, FUN, and safe environment.

She thanks her grandparents for retiring in Florida so she would miss them so much that she came earlier in life (than most) to be close to them. She enjoyed employment with a CPA firm for years until she was exposed to an opportunity that would forever change her life. René absorbed all she could about The Villages, practiced serving others… concentrating on learning the best way to take exceptional care of folks coming here to discover and live out their dreams.

After 16 successful years exclusively performing real estate for guests and residents, opportunities continue for helping people find their way to a life unimaginable, as well as other phases; marketing your existing home in order to upgrade, selecting a homesite to build a home, downsizing to something more manageable, making a lateral change to a different location or Village for fun, choosing apartment style living, independent living, assisted living or to moving nearer to family if/when that time comes.

René specializes in transitioning residents from one home to another smoothly with a goal of simultaneous closings. She avoids obstacles by functioning effectively, working super hard up front (whether staging a home, improving datedness, facilitating cost effective repairs or relieving folks situationally) to obtain the highest possible return for her sellers and finding the most suitable home for her buyers.

René’s personal joy is spending time with her family, especially her grand-girls who she adores more than words can express. She also likes softball season for additional competition among her peers, as well as investing monetarily in this remarkable place where homes appreciate/maintain values better than any place she has ever owned.
