Poppy’s parents purchased their first home in The Villages in 1998. She visited in 1999 with her children and knew that this amazing community would become her home! That dream came true in 2013 when she moved from London to The Villages with her husband and business partner Sean Donnelly. They live close to her parents and other family members are planning their retirement in this beautiful community. Sean’s daughter Sian and mother Barbara frequently visit from England.

Poppy grew up in Norfolk, VA. She raised her two children, Gracie and DJ in Lynchburg, VA where she graduated Randolph-Macon Woman’s College with a degree in Communications. Her work experience includes life insurance claims, regulatory compliance, property management and managing a team for Apple in Cupertino, CA. She and Sean have owned an estate sale company in The Villages since 2013 and have been in real estate here since 2016.

Poppy and Sean are very entrenched in the Community. They are active Rotarians with The Rotary Club of The Villages, where they can work to improve the world locally, nationally and globally. They are involved with many local charities where Sean uses his auctioning talents to raise money and entertain guests. In her free time, Poppy enjoys playing mahjong, enjoying entertainment at the town squares and going on photo walks around town.

Whether purchasing or selling a home, transitions can be very exciting and sometimes difficult. Her goal is to make these experiences as seamless and stress free as possible by sharing her professional skills and community knowledge. She is living the dream and helping others to realize theirs!
