Matthew Clark has been with Properties of The Villages since 2010. He was born in East Greenbush, a small town outside of Albany, New York.  Matthew and his wife Patty live near The Villages. He has three children through marriage.  Matthew’s parents, aunt, uncle and sister all live in Florida.

Shortly after moving to Florida he went to work for Sea Ray Boats as a boat detailer in their yacht division. Matthew received his bachelor’s degree and moved into management where he was overseeing quality, warranty and customer service for the yacht division.  Travel was a big part of his career with Sea Ray, and he was fortunate to spend a lot of time in the Middle East and Europe.

 For fun you can find him out in the field playing ultimate Frisbee, football or basketball with his friends.  He is also a musician at heart playing the piano since he was 13 years old.

Matt is a very personable and caring person. His customers always come first. Our relationship doesn’t end with the sale of a house. “I am fortunate enough to not only call my residents my Villages family, but to have them embrace me as a part of theirs as well.”

Matthew shares that if he did not work for Properties of The Villages, he would not be in real estate.  Coming from a background in the corporate world, Matthew didn’t know what to expect when it came to working for a family business.  The thing he loves most about his job is that he plays a part in making someone’s retirement dreams come true in buying their dream home in The Villages.
