Mark joined the sales team at Properties of The Villages in 2012. Mark was born and raised in the far northwest suburbs of Chicago. Except for college, Mark lived in the same county his whole life before moving to Central Florida to work for The Villages. Mark graduated from Western Illinois University with a double major in engineering technology and graphic arts.

Mark and his wife Nicole have three beautiful children. Nicole is a pediatric physical therapist for a local school district. The Kennedy’s are blessed to have their children in The Villages Charter School system where they have really excelled academically and in sports.

After visiting Mark’s in-laws’ home in The Villages numerous times a year beginning in 2007, Nicole and Mark made the decision that Central Florida was going to be home. The Kennedys really enjoy the weather in Florida especially being able to be so active outdoors year-round. In their free time they enjoy exploring all parts of Florida and especially like kayaking the local springs and fishing. When not attending the kids’ many sports and school activities, you will also find them listening to music and dining at one of the squares in The Villages.

Mark became a commercially licensed hot air balloon pilot in 1994, although he has taken a break from the sport for a few years to spend more time with the kids. Mark is also an avid photographer. Mark and Nicole enjoy traveling the world with the kids. Cruising the Caribbean and traveling to South Africa are their favorites.

Mark really enjoys when his customers turn to him and say, “Wow, you really listened and found the perfect home for us.” Finding the “right fit” for each customer is a joy for Mark. Working at The Villages is a dream. Everyone you run into around town is happy. With so much to do in The Villages… how can you not be happy?
