Lisa Cummins was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. (Go Bills!) She graduated from the State University of New York College at Brockport with a Communications degree and spent the next 30 years as an HR professional providing guidance to her employees. Following her dream, Lisa left the corporate world to become a Licensed Sales Representative and joined Properties of The Villages.

Lisa first met her future husband Kevin in the 3rd grade, and then married the love of her life after he completed his service in the United States Navy. They have two beautiful children, Rachel and Jackson, who reside in Buffalo. They enjoy their visits and visit often. Lisa is thrilled to become a first-time grandmother in October 2023 and looks forward to creating memories with her grandchild through Camp Villages.

Lisa was first introduced to this lively, active community in 2000 when her in-laws Jim and Terry Cummins happily settled in The Village of Tierra del Sol. In October 2020, with the upcoming Buffalo winters, she and her husband thought “why wait” and bought into this fantastic lifestyle. No worries about having to shovel sunshine!

Hand holding walks with her husband, yoga, pickleball, and spending time with her wonderful family, friends and neighbors complete her days. Participating in Dragon Boat racing is on her future agenda!

Providing care and comfort to those in need became her life mission, which led her to become a hospice volunteer.
