Kim’s Midwestern values — hard work, honesty, and friendliness — resulted from her upbringing in Chicago and rural Illinois. She learned the value of hard work early on when at age 14 she worked detasseling corn, and then later served customers at McDonald’s. She worked her way through Community College and Illinois State University and entered the property insurance industry upon graduation.

During her 37-year career she worked as an insurance adjuster, claims examiner and catastrophe adjuster. She earned her law degree at Barry University and became an attorney specializing in property insurance law. Prior to becoming a Properties of The Villages Sales Representative, she had her own law practice and was a court certified mediator, dispute resolution umpire and property appraiser. Her work experience taught her to really listen to her clients to meet their needs.

As a resident of Orlando for 25 years, she knows Central Florida well. Kim moved to The Villages in 2021. As an active Villager, she is highly knowledgeable of The Villages community, lifestyle and activities. She has been amazed by what The Villages offers and participates in several activities and social gatherings.

Kim is delighted to be a member of the Properties of The Villages team and looks forward to helping future residents make their dreams come true.
