Katie Crane was recognized as the Number 2 Sales Representative for Properties of The Villages in 2024 and the Number 3 Sales Representative in 2023! In 2023, she also earned the prestigious award for Most Pre-Owned Homes Sold, a title she previously secured in 2020, the same year she received the Rookie Award. In 2022, she maintained her stellar performance, ranking among the Top 20 Performers. Her accomplishments were further commemorated with the naming of her own street, “Crane Doran Place” in 2021.

Katie, originally from New Jersey but with a “Midwestern heart,” has always found her true home in Michigan, and later in Indiana, where she spent several years. Her journey to The Villages mirrors that of many others – it began with visits to her in-laws, who have been residents since 1990. From her inaugural trip in 2010, she felt the pull of The Villages and knew it was where she belonged. In 2019, Katie and her spouse Sara decided to make their dream a reality, purchasing their own piece of paradise in The Village of McClure.

Driven by a deep-seated passion for caring for others, Katie dedicated eight years to volunteering at the Center for Hospice House, as well as contributing her time to the Boys and Girls Club and Big Brothers/Big Sisters programs in Indiana before joining Properties of The Villages. With over 15 years of successful sales experience with a leading RV manufacturer in Indiana, Katie’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish her own “white glove” concierge service company, Red Diamond Services. Specializing in catering to the needs of top executive clients, Katie’s venture focused on managing their busy personal lifestyles and property needs.

As the fourth of five children, Katie takes pride in being the favorite Aunt to her numerous nieces and nephews. She finds joy in activities like water volleyball, beach tennis, and golf, alongside her spouse Sara, who shares her love for animals. Their household is always bustling with the presence of at least two dogs, and often they also care for horses at a nearby boarding facility.

Katie’s remarkable ability to understand her customers’ desires and guide them to their perfect homes reflects her genuine care and commitment. Whether it’s navigating one of life’s significant decisions or helping clients find their own Dream Home, Katie always has their best interests at heart.
