Karen Perkins was born and raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania and attended Bloomsburg University. After college she moved to Alexandria, Virginia where she met her husband Randy.

They have 3 sons, RJ who is 23, a graduate of The Villages High School and The University of Florida. Jack, 22, also graduated from The Villages High School. He attended Stetson University on a full baseball scholarship, was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in 2018 and is currently a pitcher in their Minor League system. Karen’s youngest son Will, attended The Villages Charter School from Pre K 4 through graduation while earning both his high school diploma and his Associates Degree. Will is currently enrolled in the PGA Golf Apprenticeship Program working towards becoming a PGA Teaching Professional. In 2002 while visiting Karen’s parents in The Villages, Karen and Randy saw a business opportunity and took a leap of faith and purchased a Country Club Restaurant in The Villages. Karen and all her boys left their home in Richmond, Kentucky, moved to Marion County and over the next 14 years, successfully owned and operated three restaurants in The Villages area. When they sold their restaurants, Karen and her husband purchased several vacation properties on Anna Maria Island, Florida and Karen attained her Real Estate License. Having been so deeply involved for years with The Villages residents, community, schools, and businesses Karen has developed tremendous insight and knowledge of The Villages and all that it has to offer. Pursuing a career with The Properties of the Villages is a perfect opportunity for Karen to utilize her unique skill set and allow her to work in the community that has truly become her home. Karen has witnessed firsthand from her parents and the residents that The Villages lifestyle and a little Florida sunshine has added years to their lives. Her folks are more active now at 80 than they have ever been. Karen is passionately dedicated to helping people find their perfect home and live out their retirement dreams here in The Villages.
