Julie Raketich is a Florida native who grew up just 30 minutes from The Villages in nearby Mount Dora, Florida. Julie’s small-town upbringing taught her the value of community and hospitality, which has given her a deep appreciation for the welcoming, hometown feel of The Villages.

Julie attended the University of Florida where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and met her husband, Gary. After graduation, Julie and Gary moved to Orlando, FL where Julie began her career as an elementary school teacher and a cast member at Walt Disney World, two roles that offered Julie the opportunity to do what she loves: meeting new people, serving her community, and positively impacting the lives of others.

While Julie took great pride in her previous career, being given the opportunity to spend every day helping people’s retirement dreams come true in The Villages was one she knew she couldn’t pass up.

Julie is humbled and honored to be a Sales Representative for The Villages. She feels blessed to meet and learn from her guests each day and works tirelessly to ensure that their retirement goals are fulfilled. Earning the trust and friendship of a guest is an honor and a privilege that Julie will never take for granted.

Julie and Gary live in Middleton with their two children and Miniature Poodle. Joette and Hudson attend The Villages Charter School. The entire family loves the friendly, hometown community that The Villages provides to all who live and work here.
