Jay’s career has been defined by a lifelong commitment to serving others. Originally from Connecticut, he spent more than 30 years as a Registered Nurse in both civilian healthcare and military settings, providing compassionate patient care while leading healthcare teams as a Director of Nursing.

During his 22 years of service in the United States Army Nurse Corps, Jay rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Throughout his military and nursing careers, he earned a reputation for integrity, compassion, thoughtful leadership, and a steadfast commitment to putting people first.

After retiring from military service, Jay and his family discovered The Villages and made it their home in 2020. Like many who relocate to the community, he was drawn by its welcoming atmosphere, active lifestyle, and the opportunities it offers to build lasting friendships and enjoy retirement to its fullest. He often reflects that he only wishes he had discovered The Villages years earlier.

Today, Jay serves as a Sales Representative with The Villages, although he prefers to think of his role as that of a Lifestyle Advisor. Drawing on decades of experience caring for people during many of life’s important transitions, he enjoys helping others explore whether The Villages is the right fit for their own next chapter. His approach is grounded in listening, building relationships, and providing thoughtful guidance so that individuals and families can make informed decisions with confidence.
