Jared brings a sincere and personal connection to Florida’s Friendliest Hometown, shaped by more than two decades of living and working alongside The Villages community. Born in Colorado Springs and raised in Battle Creek, Michigan, he moved to Central Florida while still attending high school. He was just in time to watch Lake Sumter Landing and later Brownwood Town Square rise from the ground up. That transformation, combined with his early work in hospitality, sparked a deep and lasting appreciation for the area.

For years, Jared served residents and visitors through FMK Restaurant Group, where he embraced a culture built on hospitality, service, and meaningful connection. Being immersed in the community showed him just how special life in and around The Villages could be. It’s also what inspired his decision to enroll his son at The Villages Charter School – a choice that’s led to remarkable growth in his son’s character, discipline, and drive.

Real estate became the natural next step – bringing together Jared’s passion for people, serving others in his community, and his desire to give back to the place that has shaped his life so profoundly. He describes his role with Properties of The Villages as, “Feeling retired before retirement,” one that allows him to serve others, build lifelong relationships, and be part of something truly meaningful.

When he’s not helping customers find their Dream Home, Jared enjoys running local 5Ks, cheering at softball games, catching shows at The Sharon, and dining at some of his favorite local restaurants – including many FMK community favorites. For Jared, The Villages isn’t just where people retire – it’s where they come to thrive, discover new passions, and rekindle the ones they thought they left behind.
