JaLaine was born and raised here in Sumter County, Florida and remembers when it was known as a railroad/ farming community. A lot has changed since then so she’s kind of telling her age. Thankfully age is just a number, and we are as young/old as we choose to be. She developed her love for people around 5 years of age when she had her first job selling fruits and vegetables with her grandmother at their roadside stand. She loved hearing everyone’s stories and where they were visiting from.

JaLaine’s grandfather was an engineer for the railroad for 30 years and her father followed in his footsteps. After her father retired, they started a family business growing watermelons, tomatoes, and cantaloupes. She remembers her grandparents saying they had the best 15 years of their lives here in The Villages. Her parents also retired here so she’s seen firsthand how this place can make miracles happen. Her dad always told her, “A body in motion stays in motion.” She’s seen it with her own eyes and believes with her heart and soul this to be true.

JaLaine married her best friend, and she has 2 daughters and her very first grandchild. She has been blessed to be able to raise her family in this positive, fun, and safe environment. Both daughters grew up in The Villages Charter School and she had the wonderful opportunity to teach there for 19 years before starting her career in real estate. She loved watching children learn and grow through fun experiences. She wanted to make a positive difference by giving them a learning environment full of love and possibilities that would continue with them through life.

Now she’s honored to be able to offer this same environment for retirees who have earned the right to enjoy all what this life has to offer.
