Garrett Pearsall is a retired NYPD police officer and proud resident of the Villages Family Neighborhood.

Born and raised on Long Island, NY, Garrett is a graduate of Lindenhurst High School. He earned an exceptional talent award to play football at SUNY Brockport. After a few years, Garrett transferred to Farmingdale State College to finish earning a degree in criminal justice.

In 2003, Garrett was hired by the NYPD and served a distinguished 20-year career patrolling the streets of New York City. Through the years, Garrett was part of multiple precinct crime prevention teams enforcing narcotics and quality-of-life issues. In Garrett’s career, he is most humbled by his last 6 years when he had the honor of serving as a PBA delegate elected by his peers representing fellow police officers.

Garrett first came to the Villages 18 years ago when his parents moved here. Upset they were leaving NY, he quickly realized why. He was amazed by the lifestyle and truly felt his parents were “living the dream”. Over the years, Garrett and his family would visit several times a year and enjoyed watching the Villages expand. Garrett knew then that he wanted to be part of the Villages and help make people’s dreams come true.

Garrett met his beautiful wife, Mary, in Manhattan. They have been married for the past 14 years. They have two wonderful children, Clay and Maeve, who are thriving in The Villages Charter Schools. Mary is also a licensed real estate professional with Properties of The Villages. She has a degree in design and marketing. Together, they are excited to combine their skills and personalities to help you become a Villager!

Known as one of NY’s finest, Garrett is proud to have been part of the NYPD family and now strives to serve and be part of The Villages family!
