David was originally born and raised in central Massachusetts, but also spent extensive time visiting family in the great state of Vermont throughout his years growing up. After college, he moved to New York City where he went on to earn his MBA in Marketing and began a career in media and advertising, in which he would continue to prosper for over a decade.

Following 11 years in New York, David headed west to Portland, Oregon and was able to continue advancement in his career while also pursuing outside recreational hobbies such as cycling, hiking, camping, kayaking, and beaching. “Working in a client services capacity filled my satisfaction and need to help others attain their goals, while getting out and about in nature and experiencing life filled my soul.”

David made the move to The Villages as a seasonal resident in early 2019 to provide years of much needed intensive caregiving for an ailing parent. During the time in which that parent was eventually on their way to making a full recovery, he ended up falling in love with The Villages and everything the community has to offer. He became a full-time resident of the area in 2022, and he hasn’t looked back since. While his caregiving services are no longer required, his desire for helping others combined with a passion for the area has naturally transitioned him into a career that helps others realize their retirement dreams by becoming a part of this world-class community.

Health and wellness of mind and body is a top priority for him, and that’s something that he believes The Villages embodies to its very core. You’ll often catch him out in his downtime cycling the multi-modal paths, utilizing the Fit Clubs, and walking his Villages neighborhood and the numerous nearby paths. “I’ve seen firsthand the power of movement and activity to good health and recovery, and there are endless opportunities to do just that here, any time and any day.”

“To simply say this area is unique is quite the understatement. To see it in person is to truly understand that there is no other place like this in the world.”
