Claire has lived in the area since 2012 and has had the unique opportunity to experience The Villages through the eyes of her parents. What was expected to be a quick visit to a friend’s house for two days led to a deep love for this community and the lifestyle that the whole family came to share! Suddenly her parents, who had planned to retire in their home state of Georgia, were changing their plans to make The Villages their home! She visited The Villages with them, and it wasn’t long before she made it her home as well. Claire helped her parents through the process of purchasing not one, but three homes here, both with Sales Representatives of Properties of The Villages, as well as without, and she remembers the lessons she learned through each of those sales and purchases.

Claire loves taking long golf car rides with her pups: Annie, Sadie, and Little Man, and discovering all the beautiful areas and amenities The Villages offers. Even though she is far from retirement, she has developed a great appreciation for those who have worked so hard to see their retirement dreams come true. It is this growing appreciation that ultimately led her to join The Villages sales team.

Claire was raised close to the beach in Chesapeake, Virginia, which was such a wonderful place to grow up! She graduated from Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, NC, and has since served as a missionary in Argentina, El Salvador, and South Asia. She is passionate about being with people and building relationships with those around her. She is also a devoted fan of the University of Georgia. Since moving to Florida, she worked in Guest Services at a local conference center for three years and worked for over six years as a Special Projects Manager for a local non-profit. She is actively involved in her church, FBC Leesburg. It is there that she met the love of her life, Heath! They dated for 18 months and were married in January 2022. They are thankful to call this area their home.
