Cindy Ernst knows that the perfect home is different for everyone. When she and her family moved to The Villages in 2017, their excellent real estate professional helped them build a home that met all their needs. Now Cindy is ready to share that same specialized service and commitment with her own clients!

Cindy says, “My passion is sharing my love for The Villages lifestyle. I want every client to enjoy living here as much as I do. I believe everyone has a perfect new home in The Villages, and I’d love to be the one to find it for you!”

Cindy was born and raised in Vineland, New Jersey and graduated from Vineland High School in 1983. The daughter of Italian immigrants, she learned the value of hard work from her parents, who founded one of the most successful produce businesses in South Jersey. She also has two older sisters and four nieces.

Cindy has done just about every job you can imagine! She’s been a flight attendant, a travel agent, a state-licensed manicurist (voted Best of the Best in 2002), and the Principal Clerk Typist and Office Manager of a celebrated preschool program. In every career, Cindy has always found joy in providing top-notch customer service and a personalized experience for her clients. Her true calling is meeting new people, making new friends, and sharing new experiences!

Cindy’s wonderful husband, Richard, is a retired New Jersey State Trooper. They married in the summer of 1989 and have one daughter, Marina, who lives and works in the Tampa Bay area. After moving to The Villages, the Ernst’s quickly built a group of friends and neighbors they now consider family, and Cindy has been known to host holiday dinners for more than 30 people! Cindy and Richard settled in the Village of Pine Hills, while her in-laws, Sharon and Tom, were two of the first residents in the Village of Fenney.

When she’s not working, Cindy is usually golfing with her husband, baking treats for her neighbors, or grabbing coffee in one of the Town Squares. Cindy is also an animal lover and can usually be found spoiling her rescue cat Madden or frequenting The Villages’ many dog parks with her Great Bernese dog Marshal. She’s famous for her authentic Italian Christmas cookies, her homemade pasta, and her incredible sauces, all made using old family recipes straight from the shores of Sicily!

Faith is also very important to Cindy. She and her husband are members of Hope Lutheran Church here in The Villages, and their daughter works for the Florida-Bahamas Synod of the ELCA.

When asked about life in The Villages, Cindy always says, “There is something here for everyone! You can do as much or as little as you want on any given day. If you want to enjoy every day of your retirement, The Villages is the best place to be!”
