Chris Mullen joined the sales team at Properties of The Villages in September 2013. Born in Virginia, Chris moved to Florida when he was 16. He graduated from Eustis High School in Lake County. Right out of high school, Chris attended the Institute of Public Safety Police Academy in Lake County. Chris was hired by the Leesburg Police Department as police officer at the age of 19 and worked there for just over 18 years. He worked his way through the ranks and completed his Degree in Criminal Justice. Some his duties included working in the K-9-unit, bike patrol and finally as a Lieutenant in charge of the SWAT Team. As the SWAT team leader, Chris became very interested in fitness as he created fitness standards for members of the SWAT Team. Chris then became a personal trainer and worked for three years at the former MVP Sports Clubs in The Villages where he taught group fitness classes and worked one-on-one with Villagers to improve their health.

Chris has two beautiful daughters, Madisyn (21) and Morgan (19). Madisyn lives and works locally in the Fruitland Park area, while Morgan attends the University of Central Florida in Orlando where she is working on her degree in Graphic Design. With his background in fitness, Chris still enjoys teaching group fitness classes and has run several triathlons in the Clermont area.

While working at MVP, Chris was introduced to The Villages Lifestyle and became fascinated with how much Villages residents love their community. Chris felt that it would be a very rewarding career to help people who are not familiar with The Villages realize their retirement dreams and help them live a lifestyle unlike anywhere else, by helping them find their dream home.
