BIOGRAPHY—CHERIE MASON

Cherie is an experienced businesswoman with creative expertise and has often been referred to as the “red-headed renovator.” She combines her passion and experience in interior design and real estate investing to help you find the home and lifestyle of your dreams.

Cherie was born and raised near Columbus, Ohio. Her family moved to Toledo when she was a teenager which is where she met and married her high school/youth group sweetheart, Gordon. She graduated from The University of Toledo with an education degree and began teaching at an elementary school. When she and her husband moved Greenville, South Carolina she transitioned to teaching at the university level. She has three children, two who were adopted and one birth child, all who are grown now with their own lovely families spread all over the world including Ramstein Germany, Spokane Washington and to Greenville South Carolina.

Cherie is a published writer of homeschool curriculum and is one of the original writer/developers of the Patch the Pirate Clubs curriculum for Majesty Music. After her daughter went to college she decided to go back to school and obtained her Interior Design Certificate and has worked as an interior designer/renovations expert for over 20 years in both the Scranton, PA and Central Florida areas.

She and her husband moved to Florida to be closer to family and enjoy the warmer climate. They decided to visit The Villages and one visit convinced her that she wanted to not only live here, but also wanted to become a licensed real estate agent and share the amazing lifestyle with anyone coming to The Villages. It was a natural transition since both her grandfather and father were real estate agents and because of her love for helping people follow their dreams.
