Angie has been with Properties of The Villages over 21 years.

Angie was born in South Georgia and moved out west at the age of 14 due to her father’s career transfer in outdoor advertising. Angie attended middle and high school in Arizona. Her dad transferred to Fresno, California when Angie was 18, this is where she attended Fresno City College to explore career choices and it was there that she developed a curiosity that had since turned into a passion of real estate development and home sales. Any course that pertained to real estate, she took, including real estate Appraisal, Property Management, Finance, Practice & Principles, and her favorite was Real Estate Law. While studying real estate, Angie also attended and graduated from Barclay College in the legal administration field. She knew that she always wanted to help people and had originally wanted to study law and she thought that her career would eventually be in the legal field. However, following graduation, Angie was hired by Spano Enterprises, one of the most reputable family-owned real estate companies in Fresno County. The Spano family saw Angie’s enthusiasm of Real Estate, they recognized her love for people and ALSO saw talents and her potential to become a very good salesperson. This opportunity was yet another step-up in Angie’s career and her dreams continued to grow. Angie learned all aspects of real estate development. The Spano family shared their knowledge and she had hands-on experiences in land acquisitions, land development, construction pricing, construction, permitting, homebuilding, and commercial & residential leasing. The more she learned the more confident Angie became in pursuing her Real Estate dreams. Angie went on to having her own community that she participated in planning, developing, and marketing from the ground up, “Monarch Homes”, and her best thank you to this wonderful company, was to become a top performer in new homes sales. Spano Enterprises and her drive to achieve excellence in customer experiences had led her to one of her many accomplishments and not knowing there were still more to come….

In 1998, Angie moved to Florida to be near her family. She was hired as the first female real estate manager in the history of Whiteco Outdoor Advertising. Under her leadership, her leasing team secured and lead the company in the greatest number of billboards leased nationwide. She was then promoted to sales manager of the same company and lead her sales team to achieve the goals that this struggling department had not experienced in years. Her sales team not only achieved their goals as a team, but individually, and the sales department received many awards and accolades nationwide from partnering offices as well as corporate. Several acquisitions were taking place in the billboard industry at that time and Angie had earned a name for herself. Angie was pursued by 3 different companies to join their team. It was at that time that Angie decided that her true passion was in real estate, and she wanted to find a community that changed people’s lives. Even though Angie was raised in the advertising industry, she found her heart to always be in home sales. Her love for assisting folks and helping them with one of the biggest decisions of their lives lead her to The Villages.

Since Angie joined The Villages, she has assisted folks in achieving their dreams and has sold over 800 homes within The Villages. Many of these homes are folks buying their second, third (fourth, fifth, etc.) home right within The Villages itself and her residents referring their friends and family directly to her as they could not imagine anyone other than Angie assisting them in becoming a Villagers.
