Southern Oaks

Designed by The Villages’ longtime golf course architect Kenny Ezell, Southern Oaks Golf Club is unique with three Par 3’s, three par 4’s and three par 5’s on each of the nines. Each of the par 3’s, 4’s and 5’s plays in different directions, giving you a unique and fun experience on each and every hole. Five sets of tees ranging from 6500 yards from the Gold tees down to 4000 yards from our Friendly Tees offer an exceptional, playable golf course no matter the ability level.

Palmer Legends

The Palmer Legends Championship Course was designed with PGA legend, Arnold Palmer. A complement to the dramatic vistas throughout the course, several holes play adjacent to a large, prairie nature preserve, and others overlook Lake Sumter and Lake Sumter Landing.

Palmer Legends consists of 27 holes, each nine providing its own set of challenges, including many water hazards, demanding bunkers and rolling terrain. The course totals 7,180 yards, a challenge for even the most skilled golfer. However, there are five sets of tees, allowing for an enjoyable experience for all skill levels.

Orange Blossom Hills

Orange Blossom Hills Golf Course is the oldest 18-hole championship golf course in The Villages, and plays at 6,213 yards from the back tees. With mature and majestic trees, quaint bridges and low, rolling hills, the Orange Blossom Hills course is paradise and history rolled into one.

Golfers should not let the length of the course lull them into complacency, as many holes demand accuracy off the tee with a variety of clubs. The small greens put a premium on precise iron play, and putting can be challenging, due to the many subtle breaks on the greens.

Mallory Hill

The Mallory Hill Clubhouse overlooks 18 of the 27 holes from one of the highest points in Sumter County. The ever-changing elevation will give you a different kind of golf experience.

The historic area of tee box #7 on The Caroline is The Villages’ own version of the fabled Amen Corner. The tee is adjacent to one of the oldest cemeteries in the county, rumored to be the final resting place of many of our earliest settlers. The Virginia nine is the only nine that borders both Morse and Buena Vista Boulevard.

Be very cautious while playing the sprawling valley known as The Virginia, located on acreage once known for its watermelon patches and fishing holes. Seven of the nine holes boast water hazards, making precise shot placement a must.

With tee boxes stretching from 5000-7000 yards, golfers of all abilities will make special golfing memories at the Mallory Hill Country Club!

Lopez Legacy

This course is LPGA Hall of famer Nancy Lopez’s first course design, and a tribute to her golfing skills. Lopez Legacy is designed for all skill levels, built on the rolling terrain of Marion County. Many of the holes are landscaped with live oaks and water.

Havana

Changes in elevation and rolling fairways are the standard, and will provide challenges for all players. The generous landing areas and the well-protected greens place a premium on your approach shots. Don’t let the generous greens fool you. With undulation everywhere you look, they will give your putting skills a real test.

Five sets of tees allow for a challenging but enjoyable experience for all levels of golfers. Facilities include a golf shop, putting green, and hitting net.

Holes 8 and 9 of Kilimanjaro finish with extreme elevation changes, well-guarded greens and lots of surrounding water.

The course, designed by Clifton, Ezell and Clifton Design Group, is a challenge for the most skilled golfer and stretches to a total of 7,070 yards.

Hacienda Hills

This 27-hole course offers a great test for all skill levels, with bunkers on every hole, and water features on fourteen holes. Golfing legend Chi Chi Rodriguez said the mirrored holes at Hacienda are two of his all-time favorite holes of golf.

Glenview Champions

With the yardage stretching over 7,100, this course is truly designed for championship play. Glenview was designed in consultation with top senior PGA pros Tommy Aaron, Hubert Green and John Mahaffey. The course features challenging elevations, bunkers and scenic views. Five sets of tees make this course playable for all skill levels.

Evans Prairie

Built around the prairie with the same name, Evans Prairie is yet another outstanding golf challenge. This 27-hole championship course opened in the fall of 2012. With six sets of tees ranging from 3,801 to 7,052, Evans Prairie will give golfers of every skill level an enjoyable day on the course.

Golfers will soon notice the many holes where “Target Golf” comes into play. The eighth hole of Killdeer is just one of those holes. This par-5 is set against the east side of Evans Prairie Lake, with a beautiful view of the clubhouse. The Lake shapes the hole as it runs along the entire left side, and also juts inward, producing a peninsula, and creating some very challenging landing areas. Club selection will be very important when you play this, and many other holes at Evans Prairie.

Cane Garden

Cane Garden is one of Florida’s most naturally beautiful courses, where the pursuit of “birdies” is equal to the time one might spend “bird” watching.

This 27-hole course features a magnificent hillside clubhouse surrounded by oak hammocks. The course plays around a 140-acre eagle preserve. From the fifth tee, one can spot nests of Bald Eagles and Burrowing Owls. Southeast American Kestrels (a species of falcon) are also plentiful. With teeing positions from 4,980 to 7,000 yards, every golfer can find a home in the natural settings of Cane Garden.
