My name is Melissa Elders and I serve as the senior director of marketing for Oaken Stone. We are so excited to be joining this community here in Eastport.
Oaken Stone is a upscale tavern fair uh that has the casual dining atmosphere of a tavern. Our mission is to spread joy through heartfit hospitality, great food and drinks because people matter to us. Oaken Stone really uh focuses on being the gathering spot for the communities that we’re in. We hope to be that for this community. In the same way, what Oaken Stone is and what the villages in this community are really overlaps in a lot of ways. We know that an active lifestyle is very important to the residents here. We know that having a community that is centered on shopping and dining and entertainment is very important here and that’s something that’s important to us and we want to be something that the residents uh want to be a part of. We genuinely hope that they walk away feeling like that’s the place I have to go back. That’s where I want to go spend time with my friends, my family. That’s where I want to celebrate the next event in our life because they felt that genuine love and care from the people that were serving them. Yeah. We’re really excited to be located here in the heart of the Eastport community. We’re right across from the beautiful lake that is over there, the entertainment area, and then of course right here beside the welcome home center. The most unique thing about Oaken Stone is our Southport tap wall is this huge piece of our restaurant that is an interactive tap wall that features craft beer from local breweries. We have uh wine on the tap wall. We have cocktails and we even feature some zeroproof cocktails for those that that is important to. We have a very extensive menu here. One of the main features of our menu is our artisan pizzas. They’re handcrafted. We have several different pre-built artisan pizzas that guests can try, but then also an option for them to craft their own, which is really unique because one of the things we want guests to be able to do here at Oaken Stone is to be able to craft their own story. From interacting with the tap wall to crafting their own pizza. One of my favorite things on our menu is our wings. They’re slow roasted oven wings. They are absolutely delicious. One of our guest favorites is our Philly cheese steakake egg rolls. They’re one of our story starters and they’re an absolute delight. We’re so excited to be joining the community of Eastport to welcome the residents and the surrounding communities into our location.
