Suzanne began her journey to The Villages in the early 2000s, while visiting her parents who are residents here. Originally from Rochester NY, she grew up in a smaller lakeside city with rolling countryside. Summers were spent on her family boat, traveling between NY and Canadian water ways. When she turned ten, her family moved to Tokyo Japan for her father’s job in International Sales with Xerox Corporation. This is where having a great heart for people and genuine hospitality all began for her. She gravitated toward authentic hospitality while traveling internationally, experiencing different countries and cultures first-hand. Her drive for luxury hospitality, personalizing exceptional experiences, great attention to detail all stems from wanting people to feel important, valued and heard. She has a big heart and believes in making you feel “at home, away from home”. This hospitality is a part of who she is.

She attended Purdue University in Indiana, earning a dual degree in Hotel & Club Management. Throughout her career, she worked in luxury hotels and resorts in the fields of Banquets, Catering, Conference Planning and Group Sales. She held Director positions since 2008. Throughout her career, she worked for Hyatt Hotels, Biltmore Estate in Asheville NC, Howard Hughes Corporation and Margaritaville Resorts. Suzanne’s career allowed her to travel around the country and live in IN, IL, OH, MI, NC, TX and spend nine years in Northern and Southern CA. Suzanne also sat on the first board of Women at Hyatt, promoting Diversity and Inclusion as the Hyatt brand became Global in the early 2000s.

Suzanne has a great love for food and wine. While living in CA, she often visited Sonoma, Napa, Santa Rosa, and Monterey. From many years of travel and working next to some amazing chefs in hotels, she also has a love for many cuisines, with Indian cuisine being one of her favorites. With so many moves and travels at such an early age in her life, now, she likes to enjoy the simple things in life. She enjoys setting roots here and appreciates the consistency and beauty The Villages master planned community provides.
