Originally from Tyler, Texas, Sonja and her family have been visiting The Villages for more than 25 years. She and her husband, Billy, first fell in love with The Villages while visiting her mother in 2004. After many wonderful trips back with their children, Austin and Emily, they realized it wasn’t just a favorite vacation destination — it was the place they truly wanted to call home.

Since moving to The Villages, Sonja has fully embraced the incredible lifestyle that Florida’s Friendliest Hometown has to offer. Whether dancing at the town squares, swimming, playing golf, or cruising around in her black and hot pink golf car, she enjoys every opportunity to experience the beauty, energy, and strong sense of community that make The Villages so special.

After a fulfilling 30-year career in healthcare imaging, Sonja decided it was time for a new adventure and joined the team at Properties of The Villages. As a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and a longtime healthcare professional, she understands the value of dedication, integrity, and exceptional service.
