“Laughter is timeless… Imagination has no age… Dreams are forever!” Sally’s first experience in The Villages began in 2015 as she took a leap of faith, with her husband, to uproot and change their lives forever. They discovered the opportunities of “Living the Dream” were at their fingertips.

Humble beginnings… In 1979, Sally married her high school sweetheart, Joe, and together they created a life on Long Island for themselves. Joe commuted to New York City each day where he worked as an electrician. Sally worked in banking until she traded that in to become a stay-at-home mom and homemaker. For the next ten years she dedicated her time to creating a warm and loving home for her husband and two daughters. Days were spent as a class mom, Girls Scout leader, and religion teacher. As her girls grew older and became more independent, Sally found she had time on her hands and re-entered the workforce by becoming a teacher’s aide.

A friend and colleague suggested Sally do more than be an aide, and with some persuasion and guidance, in 2001 Sally registered for her first college courses. By 2006, she earned her master’s degree in Secondary Education and Mathematics. As a devoted wife and mother, she raised her family with faith, compassion, and the ability to serve others. Here was an opportunity to share these values with the youth of her community. Sally was employed by the West Babylon High School of Long Island for nine years as a teacher of Mathematics.

As life often does, it took a turn. In 2012, Sally and Joe’s eldest daughter, Brianna, and her husband, moved to Florida. It did not take very long before Sally and Joe, and eventually, their younger daughter, Serena, and her husband, all relocated to Florida.

Sally and Joe wanted to be close enough to their children and grandchildren for regular visits, yet in an active community. Oh, they found that! They stumbled into Lake Sumter Landing and the rest is history! By 2015 they were living here full time. Joe was retired and Sally landed a Mathematic teaching position at The Villages Charter School.

Time for another life changing scenario. 2020 found the world turning upside down and Sally retiring from teaching. However, these two live in The Villages! Attending Open Houses and New Home Showcases became their passion and favorite pastime. Their enjoyment spilled over to others as they discussed and introduced friends and family to all The Villages had to offer.

Sally is honored to serve as a Sales Representative for the Properties of The Villages, helping to make the lives and dreams of others a reality. She is a great example of someone who wants to give the best support and assistance to anyone interested in living The Villages Lifestyle.
