Originally from the Main Line area just outside of Philadelphia, PA Michelle Talley has also lived in Delaware, South Carolina and Virginia. An East Coast girl all the way, Michelle now enjoys living in The Villages with her husband, exploring all that this amazing hometown has to offer.

Shortly after graduating from the University of Delaware with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education & Middle School Math, Michelle moved to Charleston, SC and spent 17 years in the restaurant industry. It was there, in Charleston, where she met her wonderful husband, Josh, who at the time was in the United States Navy. Not long after they wed, Michelle first started selling real estate in South Carolina, in 2007. Upon completion of Josh’s military career, he was offered a job with Areva & they moved to Lynchburg, VA and Michelle continued her real estate career there.

Buying a home is the American Dream & Michelle still remembers buying her first home. Tingles, jitters, happiness and fear are only some of the emotions she felt when attempting her first investment. Since that first experience, there have been several more investment properties that she and Josh have purchased or sold and Michelle remembers putting herself in the same position you are. What a great reminder of all the twists and turns this wild ride can take you on no matter which side of the transaction you are pursuing!  

Michelle tends to do things a little differently and truly loves getting to know her clients on a personal level…after all, buying or selling a home is one of the most personal, most valuable choices a person may decide to make in their entire life.  There are always bumps in the road but as your sales representative she promises to make it as smooth of a ride as possible. When she’s not helping her customers, Michelle is very active in her community. She has been a lead coordinator for Financial Peace University since 2008, former board member of Young Professionals of Central Virginia & volunteered at the Miller Home for Girls. Michelle & Josh also love spending time with their “girls” – Abbie & Ivy who are their Labradors. They enjoy “tootling” around on the golf car, with the girls and a stroll at one of the squares. Michelle also loves to golf, play tennis, pickleball & is an avid runner with several races under her belt from 5Ks to Marathons!
