Kathy Horton has been with Properties of The Villages since 2007. Born and raised in Michigan, her father’s job took the family to Pennsylvania and Massachusetts and back to Michigan again. She has a strong background in sales, finance, and insurance as well as a strong customer service background for over 50 years.

She is recently widowed and has a son who resides in Southwest Georgia. She comes from a large family with many still living in Michigan. She was raised with 3 older brothers, one who lives in Ocala and the other remaining brother lives in North Georgia.

She loves being a Villages resident as well as a licensed sales representative representing this great community. She loves socializing with friends and family and enjoys meeting new friends every day. She loves playing cards, cruising, spending time at her favorite restaurants on the square, playing pool, and spending time in the sun at the many Villages pools, not to mention cruising in her golf car.

She is passionate about helping folks make their dreams come true, becoming Villagers, and improving their quality of life. There are many reasons why she enjoys working with Properties of The Villages. It is a pleasure to be part of the most dedicated sales team in the county. She loves meeting new people and has been very fortunate over the years to develop some life-long friendships. She enjoys working with customers to find that perfect home so they can start living the retired life they worked so hard to make happen.
