While working toward her Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Frieda Melton served in the United States Air Force Reserves. After completing her degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, Frieda began working for a national CPA firm. Frieda’s entrepreneurial spirit soon led her to start her own accounting practice with a strong focus on the construction industry. Through genuine concern for her customers, attention to details, strong organization skills, utilization of technology, and her ability to think-outside-the-box, Frieda built a thriving accounting practice. Throughout her professional career, Frieda lived out her passion for real estate and home construction by designing and building many of her own homes as well as the office building for her business. After 22 years as a trusted accounting professional and business owner, Frieda retired and moved to The Villages®.

Combining her strong professional skills, business background, and passion for real estate and home construction, Frieda embarked on her second career as a Licensed Real Estate Professional for Properties of The Villages®. Frieda enthusiastically shares her love for The Villages® lifestyle and strives to give others the same amazing lifestyle opportunity.

Visiting family in The Villages®, Frieda has watched the community grow since 2001. Having experienced the fun, active outdoor lifestyle and friendly social community, Frieda knew early on that she wanted to live in Florida’s Friendliest Hometown after retirement. As of 2016, Frieda became a full-time Villages resident and is now loving the lifestyle and living her dream.

Frieda and her husband, LB Melton, live in the Village of Osceola Hills. They have a daughter, Madison, and twin grandchildren. In their free time, Frieda and her husband enjoy relaxing at the pool, joy riding in the golf car, playing pickleball, listening to music at the square, and spending time with friends and family. She is passionate about eating healthy and cooking from scratch, loves to learn, and strongly supports homeschool education.
