Chris Terrill has been with Properties of The Villages since October 2011. She was born and raised in Bowie, Maryland and graduated from the University of Maryland in 1983. Chris worked and retired from FedEx after a very successful career in management and moved to The Villages in 2005 with her partner Ginny where they joined her parents, Art & Alice Terrill and sister and brother-in-law, Jim & Lynn Keane.

Chris is the 6th out of 10 children, with 5 brothers and 4 sisters. She grew up in a competitive, sports-minded family, and credits her parents for giving their all so their kids could have a good life. Living in such a large family she learned at an early age how to work together as a team. Her mom Alice is still active with exercise classes and swimming in The Villages. Softball, pickle ball and golf are just a few things that Chris enjoys too. She also likes going to the movies with friends, traveling, reading and relaxing. Chris enjoys staying in touch with her family and friends through texting and Facebook. She and Ginny enjoy visits from their many nieces and nephews who have always been an integral part of their lives. Chris also loves watching sports, especially her beloved Washington Redskins and Maryland Terps.

Among her own fans, one customer recently wrote, “Thank you very much for taking us on the tour and for getting us un-lost on our arrival. We really appreciated the over-view and tips on getting around.  I wish we had stayed a month.  You are a great ambassador for The Villages. Thanks for the ballet tickets. No doubt we would NOT have gone without the tickets, but it was great and we got to see the Sharon. Thanks again, and as I’m sure everyone tells you, the Life Style Visit is the perfect introduction!” – John & Karen

Chris shares, “I enjoy working for Properties of The Villages due to the family atmosphere and exceptional product. Having lived in The Villages for 6 years prior to working here allows me to offer personal experience and share my enormous pride in our community while touring customers. I tell them I want them to make my hometown their hometown. Providing excellent customer service is my passion. I also enjoy the opportunity to work with my sister, Lynn, who has been selling homes here for the past 12 years. She has been instrumental in helping me to transition from FedEx to Properties of The Villages. In 2014 I hired Michelle Thomas as my part time assistant. She has been instrumental in helping me in so many ways as well as ensuring our guests have a memorable Village experience.”

Our new residents have written, “Chris helped us through the entire process and the design was a breeze because of her preparation and listening skills. Thanks Chris for all your input and efforts to help us through this process. Count us among the many happy Villages homeowners.” “Chris took two days showing us homes, tennis courts, golf courses, softball games, pools, recreation centers and places to dine. Sandy and I were amazed at what we saw and felt this was for us.” – Sandy

“Since moving to the Villages in March 2013, we have shared The Villages and Chris with others and all have purchased a home that year. We think this is the greatest retirement community and offers so many physical/learning activities and health care facilities in one easy accessible location. Plus, you get to drive a golf car anywhere – how can you beat that?” – Cal
