Chris Jansen is a career customer service and hospitality professional, with over fifteen years of experience serving and bartending at both restaurants and luxury resorts including the world-renown The Breakers Palm Beach. Raised in New York and later Florida, Chris brings local expertise and charm fused with a New York hustle, with a proven expertise at conflict resolution, negotiations, and understanding clients’ needs.

He grew up in Nassau County on Long Island, spending most of his weekends traveling to the east end of the Island with his brother to either go fishing or help on projects with their carpenter grandfather. Because of that experience, his two primary passions are fishing and woodworking projects. In Long Island he enjoyed fishing for Stripers and then when he moved to Florida, he enjoys freediving and fishing for Snook and Grouper.

Chris’ priority is his daughter, Lana. With Lana and their rescue dog, Midnight, Chris likes taking opportunities to enjoy the outdoors and camp or hike whenever possible.

Chris first became acquainted with The Villages through his grandmother. She settled to the area in 2007 and was shortly followed by her siblings, all of whom still live here. Chris’ younger sisters had the opportunity to attend The Villages Charter Schools. As a result of observing their experience, Chris has seen firsthand how much The Villages and its communities offer families, seasonal residents, and active seniors.

Joining the Properties of The Villages continues to be the best investment Chris has made personally and professionally, and he looks forward to each new opportunity to demonstrate his work ethic and ability to attend to the needs of The Villages future residents.
