Becky came to The Villages after living her entire life in the Lone Star State! She was in sales with the family business in Waco, Texas for 35 years, and has been married to her best friend, Jim, since 1994. They have a daughter, Jessica, and son-in law, Lou living in Williamsburg, Virginia, and recently became the proud “Buffy” and “G-Pop” to Louis Alfred Trosch IV! That is a big name for a baby boy, so they call him IV for short.

When not loving on that grandbaby, Becky enjoys spoiling her two precious Yorkies, Muffin and Rambo, along with playing Mahjong, crafting, decorating, cooking, spending time relaxing on the water, and long golf car rides. Since her big move to Florida, she has enjoyed some of the unique fitness opportunities found here in The Villages such as playing Pickleball, Hula Hoop Classes, Water Aerobics, Yoga, and Cardio Drumming! 

As Becky began to look into retirement lifestyles, she started looking for a place that would offer endless possibilities to experience new activities, meet new friends with similar interests, and a place she could be proud to call her new home. She discovered The Villages and knew immediately this was where she and Jim wanted to immerse themselves in their “Golden Years.”

Becky and Jim bought their home in The Villages in 2016. They stayed in Texas for the next two years counting down the days until they could permanently call The Villages home! Becky studied to get her State of Florida Real Estate License and pursued a career with The Properties of The Villages. She is honored to work for such an upstanding family business that makes her feel like she is a part of the Family. 

Her Texas roots run deep but you may spot her in her car with her front license plate reading “I Love Florida” while her rear custom license plate reads “LDY TXN” (Lady Texan)!
