Donna McMahan joined Properties of The Villages in 2012.

Donna was raised here in Oxford, Florida in Sumter County, living between here and traveling while her father was in the Navy. When he retired, she moved back to Oxford, Florida. Donna attended college at Lake-Sumter State College in Leesburg, Rollins College in Winter Park and Webster College in Orlando – getting her bachelors of business degree. She made a career in the Telecommunications Industry in various fields such as customer service, marketing and engineering until she decided upon her second career in real estate.

Donna lives with her wonderful husband who she met at the telephone company. He retired as a construction supervisor. Currently they live on a farm with their two horses, six cows, three dogs, two cats, six chickens and a rooster. Donna has three beautiful daughters, two of whom are married and one currently in Veterinarian College.

Donna is an outdoors person. She loves the beach, mountains and just about all the activities you’ll find in either location. Donna is often in the woods hiking, camping and four-wheeling. She also likes to snow ski and stretch her legs on the water with boating, kayaking, scuba diving fishing and water skiing. Donna used to compete on her horse in barrel racing and poles but now she enjoys trail riding for pleasure. Donna will frequent antique shops and flea markets in search of the perfect bargain. On the rare occasion when Donna finds down time you’ll find her curled up with a good book.

Donna recently found a customer who visited her open house the perfect Villages home. He shared, “Thank you for all your help throughout my buying process here in The Villages. I would say that you are a great example of what I have come to know about The Villages, which is that everyone is giving the extra effort to make this a great community to live in.”

Donna enjoys helping people and helping make their lives happy. “I get a sense of pride and a thrill whenever I’ve helped someone with a life-changing experience. I go all the way and above and beyond to make sure my client’s life transition is a great experience.”

Donna has found her niche in The Villages. She says she enjoys working for a company that shares the same values as she does; family, hard work and caring for others.
